Hawaii House Hunting

Gwyn and I have finally arrived in Hawaii, and it's beautiful here. We landed on the island of Oahu on Wednesday evening, exhausted and longing for sleep and food. After getting all our luggage and rental car, we headed out on the H1 to find the hotel. A few wrong turns later, we found the hotel and was checked in.

This was Gwyn's first plane ride. She amazed me. I was expencting her to have troubles with the altitude changes or time differences. What a trooper!! She slept some, played some, cooed at other passengers, and even nursed with no problems.

The moment I have been waiting for quite a while has finally arrived - our housing appointment. I was very impressed with how well the appointment went. We chose to be on the waiting list for one of the government housing subdivisions in Hawaii. I am very excited. I cannot wait until we get the house and know the address. (I will let everyone know our new address via email.)

Considering I am using a goverment terminal right now, I think I will keep it short. I want to post some pictures of Gwyn on the plane and in Hawaii. I may have to wait until I get home to do so. Everyone should start planning their second honeymoons/vacations in Hawai. The Meador's Bed and Breakfast will open shortly!! Get your name on the schedule soon.
